This kit contains 15 Wonderoo V2 BTP nappies and inserts, 100 biodegradable liners, 15 washable wipes and a large wet bag to store the nappies in when wet. Detailed instructions (printed on recycled paper) with diagrams and frequently asked questions are included in the kits. This set will give all you need to use cloth nappies full time. It can be combined with the starter kit to expand your set.
The Wonderoo V2 pocket BTP nappy has a soft and stretchy waterproof PUL outer layer that feels a little bit like cloth on the outside and is very stretchy all over. The inside is lined with micro fleece to keep your baby's skin dry. For a young baby who will be lying flat most of the time, you can pull the fleece up to protrude from the back of the nappy to protect the skin from the elasticated seams, therefore providing maximum comfort. Reliability is still core to the design of Wonderoos V2, however this new version is a trimmer cut and gives a more contoured, tailored fit. The legs are slightly ‘frilled' just like the original version to help prevent leaks and to maximise air exchange the V2 also has a very small fleece gusset. This is a very versatile nappy as you can adjust the level of absorbency according to your baby's needs and for a BTP nappy it very light weight. It is very easy to use and fastens by just adjusting the poppers for the required height and width fitting. Each Wonderoo V2 is supplied with two inserts that utilizes a combination of modern fabrics to give the ultimate performance and trimness. The first, small insert is hourglass shaped being made of 3 layers of soft and fluffy microterry and is ideal for small babies, and doubling as a booster for older babies later on. The second, larger insert is made from six layers of soft, stretchy and fast absorbing bamboo terry and is suitable for older babies. To overcome the drying issue with bamboo, the insert can open out to improve drying speed. The two inserts can snap together (snap it on the pink popper for girls and blue popper for boys) to provide super-absorbency where needed for night time. The pocket nappy itself is very quick to dry and given that the bamboo insert opens out, overall this nappy answers most requirements in terms of slimness, absorbency, ease and drying speed. From mamigreen trials, it is possible that the V2 may be outgrown sooner than potty training on larger toddlers. The kit contains 15 one size nappies (8-35lb / 3.6kg-15.9kg), in stretchy polyester knit outer (PUL) in a choice of all white or a mix of unisex colours (3 sunshine, 3 seaspray, 3 soft green, 3 soft blue and 3 white in a seaspray bag)
The washable wipes are made of natural colour terry cotton on one side and white fleece on the other, and are a more environmentally friendly alternative to disposable wipes.
The nappy storage wet bag has a strong elasticated drawstring top with a toggle that allows it to be hung on the back of the nursery or bathroom door. Machine washable.
