A pocket nappy consists of an outer layer of fabric into which a fleece liner is usually sewn, creating a pocket in the front or back which you can stuff with an insert to the absorbency required. Most pocket nappies have a waterproof outer covering, although some are not waterproof and will need a separate wrap.
